Aaron, Nate, and Rich Long

Long Racing consists of the father and sons team of Rich #14  (54 yrs. old) and two sons Aaron #15 (30yrs. old) and Nate #23 (27 yrs. old).  We travel around the country racing in AMA sactioned events such as the AHRMA National Dirtrack Series, Ohio Flattrack Series, Indiana Flattrack Association, Sunset Rambers, and Triangle Motorcycle Club.

When we are not racing dirt track we also like to compete in Triangle Motorcyle Club hare scrambles, area motocross, and some seasonal ice racing (when its cold enough). On the weekends where there are no races we enjoy going out and trail riding.

Our 2007,2008, and 2009 seasons were very successful  years, with many wins in state and regional competition along with that we also had a great year on the AHRMA National Dirt Track Series running a limited schedule.

Aaron ended the year being ranked #3 (in 2008) and #4 (in 2007)in the country in the 600 sportsman class, 10th in the country in the 70's singles class (2008) and 8th in the country in the 70's 2 stroke class (2007)  with wins at the Ashland, OH half-mile national, Neeces, SC 1/4 mile national,  Harpursville, NY 1/4 mile national, and Lancaster,OH half-mile national.  In 2009 Aaron picked up the AMA Vintage Dirt Track # 1 plate in the 30+ division with a win at the Vintage National Championships at Ashland, OH half mile.

Rich ended the year with the #7 ranking in the sportsman 250 class (2007),  #5 (2008) and #11(2007) in the Senior 1 class, and #3 in the 70's singles 50+ class (2008)  with 2 wins at the SDR Raceway national in New York, and Ashland, OH half-mile national, .

Nate was only able to compete in 2 nationals in both 2007and 2008, recording a victory at the Neeces, SC 1/4 mile national, taking a 2nd place at the Lancaster OH, half-mile national and also at Ashland OH.  In 2009 Nate finished in #3 in points in the AHRMA 70's singles class, picking up three national wins at Neeses, SC 1/4 mile, Aonia, GA 1/4 mile, and Aonia, GA TT.  Nate also ended up finishing # 5 in the AHRMA 600 sportsman class, picking up a win at Aonia, GA TT.

Along with all our Sponsorhouse sponsors, we would like to also thank the following.  We would not be able to compete at the level we do without them:

The dirt-track season is officially over for the year. We are now doing as much trail, and motocross riding we can get in before the weather starts to turn bad. When it gets cold enough we will be hitting the ice!
