Laying it over at Joliet MXNikki's Highlights- After my outstanding season in 2007, the focus shifted to my husband in 2008, as he wanted to reach his dream of qualifying for the Loretta Lynn's National. So we spent a lot of time practicing and training, and he finished 3rd at both the area and regional qualifiers to make it to the National! He finished 30th O/A at the National in Vet 30 B (23-34-29)!
- In 2008, I raced a mix of motocross, stadium motocross, and hare scrambles to get different experiences after racing mostly stadium motocross in 2007. I especially enjoyed the hare scrambles, as it was something new, and we had an average of 10 women per race. I finished 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd in my hare scramble races, and if it wasn't for the dead engine starts with a 250F, I think I might have been able to take a win or two, based on lap times!
- 2007 District 17 Women's Stadium MX Class Champion (14 wins for a perfect score, average of 12 women per race)
- 2007 Megacross Shootout Series Champion (second in the Joliet Arsenal Series and the Pecatonica Stateline MX Series)
- Four AMA District 17 Women's MX/Stadium MX Championships
- Two-time Loretta Lynn's Amateur MX National Competitor
- 2006 Joliet Arsenal Series Champion
- 2006 AMA District 17 Jacket for Stadium MX Points (4th) and MX Points (7th)
- Second overall in the 2005 Racer X Vet Series
- Third overall in the 2005 Megacross Shootout Series (only raced 7 of 11 rounds, avg. of 15 women per race)
- Finished 15th in the +25A men's class at the 2005 Loretta Lynn North Central Regional
- Compete in top events, including: Loretta Lynns, Women's MX League/Association, Racer X Vet Series, Megacross Shootout Series, Arenacross, MX National Weekends, Subway Coca-Cola MX Fair Races, Florida Mini O's, DirtWeeks, Nuclear Series, Pontiac Amateur SX Championship, TripleCross Series, Arsenal Series, State Races, etc.

- Photojournalist for Cycle News, Cycle USA & Midwest-Racing.com - increasing exposure for local riders and their sponsors (and of course my own when possible!) -- 2-4 race reports/photos published per month
- Very involved with the local riders as I send many of them race photos through Myspace and email
- Moderator on DirtRider.Net (chat site with over 56,000 members) and an active member on other motocross sites: ThumperTalk.com, Motonews.com, etc. great sources to promote sponsor products and post reviews and recommendations
- Organized the annual Team Subway Coca-Cola MX Fair Races; help with other race tracks (Megacross, Lake County Fair, Cooperland); assisted Chuck Schultz with Team Subway Coca-Cola MX
